Tackling Online Learning Challenges

Globally, everything has stopped. Both schools and workplaces has closed since early March. The Covid-19 pandemic has put a halt into our lives. In a blink of an eye, our lives are turned upside down, from the school switching to online school to not being able to see our friends and family members. It may seem that your previous life would never return. Those negative thoughts and feelings can really get to you sometimes.

For education, in particular, we all face challenges. Challenges that may seem too hard to deal with. For example, self-motivation, adaptability struggle, and time management. Many students have also said that the amount of work given during online classes is greater than that of regular face-to-face classes, thus struggling with overloaded school work.

Nevertheless, do keep in mind that all problems have a solution to it and that you can overcome any problem one way or another. So, the question is how. How do we overcome these challenges? What are the solutions to them?

For adaptability struggle, change your mindset. During this pandemic, you can not do anything and make things go back to normal, the only thing you can do is to make yourself used to this. For time management, however, try making a to-do list. I can guarantee that it will help. It has helped me a lot and made me into a more responsible student. Have priorities and always make sure you get your work done. If you struggle with self-motivation, do not be afraid to fail. Everyone will fail at a point in their lives, failure is the bridge to success. Always remember why you have started. Imagine the success you will achieve if you keep on going and imagine the amount of regret you will have if you stop.

Remember, you are not alone. We are in this together. Do not doubt yourself. Try your best. You can do it. You can!
